Co-proprietor Babak Bina—family man, businessman, and community leader—has been a figure in the Boston restaurant scene for nearly 30 years. He is a founder of several non-profits, including The BiNA Farm, Tremont Street Business Association, the Taste of the South End, and Taste of Beacon Hill and its namesake Scholarship Fund. His sister, co-proprietor Azita Bina-Seibel, has been recognized numerous times as one of the top chefs in the United States, including being named as one of Boston’s top five young chefs by Food & Wine magazine. She has appeared on television’s Food Network and Channel 5’s Chronicle, and has lectured on food and Persian culture at both the Rhode Island School of Design and Harvard University. Together they own and operate the renowned Beacon Hill establishments Lala Rokh and Bin 26 Enoteca
